On Tuesday 13th February there will be a Shrove Tuesday lunch at the Hall of the Venerable Bede, commencing at 12.30 pm. The proceeds of this lunch will be donated to the local branch of Macmillan Cancer Care. The meal will consist of soup and pancakes – cost £5 per person, paid on arrival. The lunch will not be proceeded by a service. A raffle will be held during the meal.
