We are proud to announce that the Smestow Vale Grapevine Magazine was awarded a silver medal by the National Association for Church Editors, at their annual meeting in Coventry, on 5th May. This is a massive achievement for the small editorial team and dedicated committee who in their own time work unselfishly to produce such an informative and readable magazine. In making the award the areas assessed include cover design, overall layout and structure, creativity of headlines, use of graphics, clarity of the Christian message and appeal to a wider community. At the award ceremony the Grapevine representatives received a glass facsimile of the silver baptismal shell presented to the winners. Well done to Olly, Janice and the whole editorial team – keep up your brilliant work.
