Wombourne Wives began the new 2018/19 programme on 11th September with a Wine and Cheese evening. We welcomed back old and new members to the evening and had a good catch up with everyone.
Our 27th September meeting, Richard Wescott took us to the upcoming pantomime season with ‘The Confessions of a Pantomime Dame’ He entertained us with his transformation into a pantomime dame with his costumes, wigs, and make-up and then completed the evening with songs and some favourite pantomime jokes! (Oh yes he did!) We must not forget the fastest dresser in Wombourne was our own Pat Roberts!
Meetings are on 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month at The Venerable Bede at 8pm. New members and visitors are always welcome.
